FAQs

What do I need to do to prepare my home or property for the scanning process?

We ask that before we arrive at the property to scan, all of the lights are turned on, and the doors to any rooms (bedrooms, bathrooms, closets, etc) are open. Also, we ask that blinds are down over the windows, but left open. It is visually helpful, but not necessary, if all of the lights are daylight balanced, or at least soft white. Please let us know if you have any doors that won't stay open, as we carry doorstops to each location.

Does weather or time of day affect the virtual scan?

We can scan in interior of a home at any time of the daylight hours, or even in inclement weather. If you have connecting buildings that need an exterior scan to connect the building for the 3D tour, those scans will need to be done right after the sunset or right before the sunrise, as the 3D sensors on the camera are affected by direct sunlight.

How long will it take to get access to my virtual tour?

We ask that you give us 2 days to have your link(s) ready for your place from the time the scans have been taken. That being said, we normally will have your virtual tour ready the next business day. If you are rushed, we do offer a rushed service for a small fee.

Can I have multiple homes scanned in the same day?

Normally, we can scan 2 or 3 homes in a day, depending on the size of the home or property. Ask about our package pricing for booking multiple homes at the same time.
